I don’t have a soup recipe for you but I do have some inspiration… in the form of my weekly veg box. I recently subscribed to a regular veg box from my local greengrocers – Martin’s Fruit Bazaar and thought I should say a bit about it. I found myself in a bit of a rut, tending to stick with my tried and tested favourites. Basing my cooking around a weekly veg supply would hopefully encourage me to break my routine. I do try to eat seasonally and a veg box just makes it slightly easier to stick to that commitment.
You can suggest items that you definitely need, or don’t want. This box contained: mushrooms, onions, garlic, ginger, sweet potato, turnip, parsnip, carrots, leeks, broccoli and cauliflower. Not bad for £10.00!
